Savix ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use the Savix platform. By using Savix, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and interest preferences during onboarding. We also collect usage data such as pages viewed, experiences browsed, and purchases made. When you make a purchase, payment information is processed by our payment provider (Stripe) and we do not store full card details.
We use your information to: (a) personalise your Explore feed based on your interests and location; (b) process purchases and issue Savix Bucks; (c) send transactional communications such as purchase confirmations and voucher delivery; (d) improve the platform through aggregated analytics; and (e) comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share limited information with merchants only to the extent necessary to fulfil an experience you have purchased (e.g., your name and voucher code). We may share data with service providers who assist us in operating the platform, subject to confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Savix and its users.
We retain records of Bucks transactions and purchases for up to 7 years for financial record-keeping and dispute resolution purposes. You may request a summary of your transaction history by emailing [email protected].
Savix uses session cookies to maintain your authentication state. We use anonymised analytics to understand how users interact with the platform. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to use the Service.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest for sensitive data. No system is completely secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact [email protected] immediately.
Savix is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
